The project scope involved the overcladding of existing composite roof panels, replacement of gutter systems, and installation of new signage canopies. Our inspection formed part of the project’s assurance process, verifying compliance with manufacturer standards, workmanship quality, and adherence to design intent.

The £multi-million development forms part of Lidl’s ongoing UK expansion programme and required a rigorous inspection regime to ensure compliance with manufacturer, statutory, and client standards across multiple envelope systems.

The project included installation of ArcelorMittal Ondatherm 1001TSF PIR insulated roof panels and Pflaum FI wall cladding, providing high-performance, thermally efficient, and aesthetically coordinated finishes consistent with Lidl’s national specification.

The roof and wall systems utilised Tata Steel’s Trisobuild specification to deliver a high-performance, durable, and aesthetically consistent external envelope. Carré’s role was to undertake a series of staged inspections to assess installation quality, verify compliance with manufacturer guidance, and ensure the long-term integrity of the building fabric.
